COORDINATED COMMUNITY RESPONSE

The 30th Alliance approaches work via a coordinated community response (CCR). CCR teams include multidisciplinary community partners who are committed to delivering integrated, interagency care to children, adults and families served. CCR teams implement a variety of strategies to support clients in a holistic way, including training, community outreach and awareness, response protocol and case reviews.   

 

The 30th Alliance currently co-facilitates the following CCR teams in far Western NC:

Haywood Connect

Haywood Connect represents a network of educators, behavioral health providers, human service providers and health-care providers who serve children and families in Haywood County, NC. According to the Haywood Connect Mission Statement, “We work together to create an inclusive and resilient culture with the intention of developing connection, thereby strengthening families and the community.”

The WNC Rural Immigrant Services Collective

The WNC Rural Immigrant Services Collective (RISC)  represents a network of over 20(+) organizations who serve the immigrant community of far western North Carolina. In Spring 2020, as the community confronted a global pandemic, the 30th Alliance in partnership with Vecinos decided to launch a new initiative that would gather key players who provide essential services and support for immigrant families. The first meeting took place June 25, 2020 and this group has met monthly since via ZOOM. The collective has included participation from 107  individuals from across the region. According to the RISC statement of work, “This collective seeks to improve the lives of our immigrant NEIGHBORS by strengthening ALLIANCES across people, organizations and systems. The collective achieves this mission through three key objectives…collaboration…information….(and) advocacy.”
