Break the Silence

Michael Ferguson

Program Coordinator/Veteran Advocate

Veterans Outreach

Our Veteran Outreach Program is managed by Mike Ferguson, a veteran and veteran advocate who seeks to address common issues within the veteran community. Services include referrals for emergency and/or transitional housing, rehabilitation services, accessing VA healthcare, and educational benefits and employment. Additionally, direct services can be tailored to individual needs and may include court accompaniment, coordination with law enforcement, and support for victims of violence and for combat veterans.

Mike is dedicated to supporting those who have served our country. A two-time Iraq combat veteran and former Marine, he brings over 13 years of experience in veterans’ advocacy, crisis response, and navigating the transition to civilian life. Driven by his own journey and challenges, Mike has devoted his career to helping veterans access the resources they need to thrive.
